    It should be noted that Skype has done away with Public Chats in version 4.

    We tested it today with Skype 4. Looks like they fixed it ;)

    Did you test it also with the newest version? When I first clicked on the link Skype told me that public chats aren’t avilable, then I updated to the newest version and now nothing happens when I click on the link.
